Building A Better Tomorrow

Community Partners

Giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. We proudly support national, state, and local charitable initiatives, including Habitat for Humanity, Christmas in April, Kisses for Kyle, local toy, food, and clothing drives, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Bergenfield, NJ & Pennsauken, NJ).

Giving Back

At NOMAD our responsibility to our environment and community holds equal weight to our commitment to quality and safety. Acts of goodwill are necessary to pursuing a better future for all, and we are proud to be a business dedicated to change. Through acts of volunteerism, in-kind contributions, and donations, we strive to make a positive impact on the families and communities we serve.

Supporting the Children’s Tumor Foundation

The Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF) holds a special place in our founder Jalsa’s heart. CTF is dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) by advancing research, developing innovative treatments, and offering vital support and care to those affected by this genetic disorder. We proudly support CTF in their relentless pursuit of a cure, sharing in their pledge of improving lives and making a meaningful impact.

Environmental Responsibility

In 2019, we teamed up with One Tree Planted to make a meaningful impact on the environment. In celebration of our 30th anniversary, we planted 1,989 trees in the Amazon Rainforest. Since then, we have committed to planting a tree for every unit we’ve framed annually. This is just one way that we are working to make a difference and protect our planet for future generations.

ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNITY: SUSTAINABILITY

Constructing with a Conscience

We are deeply committed to sustainability and are taking proactive steps to minimize our environmental impact. We have a goal of carbon neutrality by 2032, and are making strides toward achieving it everyday. We use Workiva Carbon to track our GHG emissions and are in the process of setting science-based reduction goals to further our commitment. Our headquarters is equipped with solar panels, allowing us to run on approximately 90% renewable energy annually. These initiatives reflect our dedication to not only meeting but exceeding industry standards in environmental stewardship.
